Contemporary green crushed morocco gilt, blind- and gilt-tooled border on sides, central gilt armorial of the Dukes of Newcastle, spine ruled, lettered and decorated gilt in compartments, inner fillets, gilt edges (scuff mark at bottom of front cover with loss of leather and tooling). Provenance: Dukes of Newcastle (arms). DEDICATION COPY, printed dedication inscribed to Henry Pelham, Duke of Newcastle.
