Lot Essay

The story of Layla and Majnun is one of the most popular in Iranian literature. Here the weaver depicts Majnun running into the wilderness, the figure of Layla trying to persuade him to return and finally where the wild animals instead of turning against him, eventually learn to shelter and protect him.
