SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, LACKING A CENTRAL BOWL
The oval diamond-cut glass base with outset ends surmounted by putti holding a shield to each long side and by reclining sphinxes to each short end, surmounted by an oval guilloche-banded and gadrooned oval reserve with husk-trailed sides and handles, the underside of the glass with silvered strap-work supports and on stepped gadrooned feet
