A DUTCH DELFT POLYCHROME GARNITURE OF FIVE VASES
Second half of the 18th century, manganese M:Q mark to each
Comprising three octagonal baluster vases and covers and two octagonal beaker vases, each front panel densely painted with a basket of flowers within a green foliate brown trellis border reserved within a moulded rocaille cartouche enriched in blue and centering a sunflower, leaves extending below onto the flaring foot edged with a blue line, the reverse with a pine needle spray, the covers with finials as parrots pecking fruit and decorated en suite
15 in. (38.2 cm.) high, the baluster vases and covers; 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) high, the beaker vases (8)
