A DUTCH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE GARNITURE OF FIVE VASES
Second half of the 18th century, blue hatchet and V118 mark for De Porceleyne Bijl to both beaker vases
Comprising three baluster vases and covers and two octagonal beaker vases, each front panel painted with birds amongst grasses and rocaille shells and scrolls reserved within C and S scrolls moulded and enriched in blue, the reverse with a pine needle spray, the cover decorated en suite , the finial as a seated Foo Dog, its right forepaw holding a ball
15 in. (38.2 cm.) high, the baluster vases and covers; 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) high, the beaker vases (8)
