The Hanau jar of octagonal baluster form, painted in manganese and blue with Chinese figures in a schematic landscape; the 'garlic' vase with typical everted mouth, a bulbous knop atop the slender cylindrical neck rising from an octagonal baluster body, decorated blue and manganese enriched in yellow and green with exotic birds, insects and flowers in a rocky landscape between bands of floral lappets and still leaf tips
