A PAIR OF COALPORT BLUE SEEDED-GROUND ICE-PAILS, COVERS AND LINERS
Circa 1820
Each of Warwick vase form with burnished gold finial and handles, the cover finial as a bunch of grapes, the handles as entwined grape stalks, pendant bunches of grapes applied along the shoulder, painted in the Sèvres style, the shaped blue seeded border edged with gilt flowering vine in a scroll pattern, the tip of each scroll issuing a flower spray and centered a small bouquet beneath the arch of the scroll, the liner with a similar border and applied with two gilt bunches of grapes, on socle foot and further square base
