See Aileen Dawson, French Porcelain, A Catalogue of the British Museum Collection, London, 1994, pp. 152-153, cat. no. 126 for a gobelet 'Litron' of similar size gilt with figures Etrusques within 'jewelled' borders similar to those on the present example of beaded bands flanking Vitruvian scroll.

Henri-Martin Prévost is recorded at Sèvres as a gilder 1757-1797. His mark appears on much of the 'jewelled' wares produced for a short time in the 1780's.
