MARK OF WAKELIN & TAYLOR, LONDON, 1780,
Plain baluster form, cover with lion passant, fully marked to base, ball finial & fine gadroon rim, engraved armorial to front, crest repeated on lamp, the stand on 3 scroll feet terminating in shells, the fixed central spirit lamp with makers' mark only struck 4 times, leather-bound handle, 10¾ in. (27 cm.), 27.75 oz. (2)
