EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Including a pair of bronze vessel attachment plates in the form of eagles, their heads arched over to form the loop for the penannular rings, wings outspread with incised feather pattern, bodies and necks with large stippled pattern, 4½ in. (11 cm.) long, mounted; a pair of Luristan bronze V-shaped cheek pieces, in the form of two addorsed bird heads, 3½ in. (9 cm.) wide; two North West Persian sheet bronze stylized lion appliques, decorated with spiral and linear patterns, with spiked manes, repaired, mounted, 6¾ in. (17 cm.) long max.; a Central Asian openwork bronze belt buckle, with the figure of a goat with high curving horns, decorated with hatched lines and a raised circle on the flank, similar raised circles in each corner, circa 3rd-2nd Century B.C., 2¾ in. (7 cm.) long; an Amlash bronze goat, the tubular body with applied dots, suspension loop on the back, circa 1000 B.C., 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high; a bronze figure of a zebu with prominent hump and heavy dewlap, mounted, 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) high; a bronze finial in the form of a stylized bull head with curving horns; a short bronze pin, the head surmounted with figure of a crouching rodent, both 2¼ in.
