A HELLENISTIC CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
CIRCA 4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C., EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN
The blue body wound with opaque yellow and turquoise marvered zigzags, the rim and twin applied handles edged in opaque yellow, with knopped base, silvery-white iridescence on one side, repaired handle; and a Roman pale blue glass double balsamarium with high arched handle, circa 4th Century A.D.
2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) and 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high respectively (2)
