A FINE AND LARGE EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF HORUS THE FALCON
LATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XXVI, CIRCA 550 B.C.
The standing falcon god with gold inlaid eyes, the beak overlaid with later sheet gold, feathers finely chased and wearing a broad collar with heart amulet on the chest, on integral base inscribed with an invocation to "Horus-pa-Wadjet for life on behalf of Psamtek-sa-Neith, son of Psamtek, born to Ta-di-Renpet-Nefert", corner of base repaired, on high mottled greyish green stone mount
