Arabic and Persian on card, with large white central nasta'liq inscription li-malik al-'alam iskandar over blue ground with swirling orange foliage, surrounded by dark red border divided into four panels containing green inscriptions and with two smaller panels above and below containing Persian couplet, the whole enclosed in illuminated border of interlocking green and black panels with further inscriptions in gold on blue ground, the margins cream, white, black and pale blue, some areas of flaking, framed and glazed
