A Japanese ivory netsuke of a monk seated by a temple bell, 19th century
the seated monk looking straight forward, with one arm extended over the large temple bell and the other holding a fly whisk, wearing flowing robes, incised seal mark -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) wide.
