A Japanese ivory manju netsuke, 19th century
carved in low relief with a tailor bent over a low working table holding a tool in his hand, the reverse incised with a lady seated on a raised platform, seal mark of Koju with Kakihan, the interior with a painted inscription -- 1 7/8in. (4.6cm.) wide.
