A Japanese ivory okimono of a pigeon, 19th Century
finely carved with naturalistic details, modelled with the bird cleaning the feathers of its left wing with a long beak, sheaves of corn lying to its feet, mother of pearl inlaid eyes - 4in. (10.2cm) high, wood stand.
