A Chinese carved ivory plaque and carved wood surround, 17th Century
depicting a scene with Shoulao holding his staff and a peach, with his deer companion and below a flying bat, surrounded by a hardwood border carved with scrolling foliage - total, 3½in. (8.8cm) high; and a carved and pierced wooden plaque with three figures, the first with a ruyi-septre surrounded by bamboo and pine trees. (2)
