A Safavid tinned copper bowl, 17th Century
of deep rounded form with everted rim on short foot, the sides with a broad band of curved panels alternately plain and filled with floral engraving, a band of pendants below, a band of continuous nasta'liq inscription around the mouth interrupted by a cartouche with the original owner's name - 11in. (27.8cm.) diam.
