Two Nishapur green-glazed pottery bowls, North East Iran, 11th/12th Century
one of conical form, the sides with three panels carved and pierced with scrolling designs around floral sprays, covered with an emerald green glaze, repaired breaks; the other with simple incised band of arabesques around the sides under the similar glaze, 7½in. (19.2cm.) and 4 3/8in. (11.2cm.) diam. (2)
