A Kashan silhouette-ware pottery bowl, Central Iran, late 12th Century
of rounded conical form with T-section rim, the interior incised through the black slip with a band of lobed panels around the sides, the exterior plain, all covered with a translucent turquoise glaze, repaired - 8¼in. (20.8cm.) diam.
