Hemispherical bowl painted inside and out with typical famille rose designs, part of a large service made for the Iranian prince, Ma'sud Mirza, known as Zill-i Sultan, with roundels with a Persian inscription in gold nasta'liq dated 1297 (1879-80 AD)- 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) diameter
