the lens-holder on a short arm atop the circular column with finescrew adjustment, screw clamp and sleeves for the stage with one ear and substage mirror mount, raised on a mahogany base and with three lenses and stage forceps in a small fitted mahogany box with sliding cover -- 13cm. (5 1/8in.) high; and a larger 19th-Century brass microscope, the barrel mounted on the main column with rack and pinion focusing, over a sprung stage and mirror mount (mirror lacking), raised via a compass joint to a brass base plate, in a stained wooden drop-front case -- 35.5cm.
