A good 19th-Century German lacquered-brass travelling microscope,
signed on the stage Utzschneider Reichenbach und Fraunhofer in Benedictbeurn, the barrel mounted on the main column with rack and pinion focusing over the sprung stage with one ear and concave substage mirror, the column hinged to fold into the case, with three eyepieces, four objectives, glass stage fitting, stage forceps and two four-cell lignum sliders, in a fitted mahogany box with key -- 26cm. (10¼in.) wide
