REICHERT WIEN No42699, lacquered-brass and black enamel, draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, rotating circular stage with condensor and diaphragm with vertical adjustment and plano-concave mirror, with one eyepiece and two objectives, the fitted mahogany case -- 35cm. (13¾in.) high; another by C. REICHERT WIEN No18860, lacquered-brass, with draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, double nosepiece and plano-concave substage mirror, with two eyepieces, two objectives, in a fitted wooden case -- 36.2cm. (14¼in.) high; and one unsigned, ebonised brass and cast-iron, with draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, double nose-piece, condensor and diaphragm with vertical adjustment, plano-concave mirror and jug handle, one eyepiece, two objectives, in a wooden case with a plaque for W.H.
