A mid/late 19th-Century lacquered-brass 2 1/8-inch telescope,
signed Adie London, the 78.3cm. long body-tube with screw-adjustment to eyepiece extension tube, an extension tube with prism and side eyepiece, with three lenses, two sun-filter lenses and dust-cap to objective, mounted via two screws to tapered column with thread for tripod attachment, the tripod by FRASER & SON LONDON 1900, the fitted mahogany case with maker's trade label -- 85.5 x 11.3 x 18.4cm.
