Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1974 and its subsequent sale on 23 November 1979.

It has never been offered at auction before and is furthermore believed to be one of only five examples of reference 3605 in white gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 3605 was in production from 1971 until the mid 1980s and is the largest of Patek Philippe's "Ellipse" models.
