According to the Archives of Longines, the present watch was sold in 1922. It is fitted with Longines' patented "piton mobile" or mobile stud carrier developed by Joseph Brun, Swiss Patent No. 27416, allowing the optimal adjusting of the movement. It is delivered with a photocopy of the "Exposé d'Invention" of the Swiss Federal Office of Intellectual Property explaining the functioning of the device.
