The present "La Mystérieuse" tourbillon wristwatch was made in a very limited edition, mostly cased in yellow gold and only few examples in platinum. The highly unusual movement combining the invisible "Mystery" winding mechanism, sapphire crystal bridges and plates and a tourbillon regulator was manufactured for Corum by Christophe Claret.
The talented watchmaker Christophe Claret, born in 1962, a graduate from Geneva's renowned Ecole d'Horlogerie, opened his own company in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1989 which was relocated to Le Locle in 1998. Claret manufactures complicated movements for renowned brands such as Corum and produces, assembles and finishes high quality timepieces.
