Of cylindrical and very slightly waisted form, finely carved and inlaid with wood, mother-of-pearl, coral, malachite, soapstone, turquoise, lapis lazuli and bone depicting two birds perched amongst blossoming branches issuing from rockwork, the wood covered in a dark brown lacquer
