NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The dish has angled sides rising from a broad base, supported on a short foot ring, the lobed mouth rim characteristically unglazed, skillfully incised and combed on the interior with a lotus flowering from long stems, covered in a warm ivory glaze with areas of pooling to the base
