FIRST QUARTER 20TH CENTURY
Each of slender baluster form on a slightly spreading foot, the waisted neck applied with two stylised elephant-head handles, the bodies brightly enamelled to each side with shaped cartouches depicting quail beside flowers and rockwork, reserved on a ground of scrolling lotus with bats and hanging lanterns, between lappet bands, the neck with a band of upright stylised stiff leaves below further bats and lotus scroll, the mouth rim with ruyi, the interior and base turquoise enamelled, the base with an apocryphal iron-red Qianlong sealmark
