LATE 19TH CENTURY, BLUE BEEHIVE MARK, IMPRESSED 122, SIGNED AFTER THUMANN
Finely painted after Thumann with the three fates, a seated Lachesis holding flowers on her lap as Clotho and the elder Atropos measure and cut the thread of life, within a raised gilt surround reserved among gilt scrolling foliage embellished with white 'jewels' and pink-ground panels featuring gilt deer, swans and other birds in flight
