The cruciform clockcase surmounted by a maiden and putto, she playing a tambourine, he a flute, the clock face centering two putti flying above an amatory trophy, flanked by scrolling beaded and berried acanthus handles, on an acanthus moulded base raised on five toupie feet and a central acanthus scroll foot; each candelabra with a putto bust finial above a fluted and tapering square column painted with a putto bearing a garland within a white and ruby 'jewel' surround, flanked by scrolling candelarms issuing from female masks, on a conforming square base raised on scroll and acanthus feet
