Mid to late 19th century
After the Sèvres form sceaux á glace with heart-shaped finial and angular handles, finely painted en grisaille with covered and open vases entwined with floral garlands within a gilt surround of alternating anthemion and bellflowers, reserved on a blue ground enriched with fruiting grapevine, later mounted in inverted form above a circular giltwood base
