Surmounted by a ribbon-tied wreath and two pinecone and acanthus leaf finials, finely painted after Boucher with a courting couple seated in a forest clearing and playing with a bird emblematic of love, within a cast oval and further beaded rectangular surround centering a female-mask terminal, the corners painted with rose garlands, raised on four scroll and paw feet
