Lot Essay

A student of Joseph Raymond Paul Gayrard, Détrier debuted at the Paris Salon in 1866. A terracotta bas-relief entitled Le matin and a medal entitled E. de Massey by Détrier are in the permanent collection of Musée de Langres.
