A Sino Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of a bodhisattva
late 18th century
Standing in slight tribhanga on a lotus pericarp, his right hand lowered in varadamudra, the left raised and holding lotus stem, a pair of lotus rising from the lotus base, wearing dhoti, bejewelled, his face with serene expression, elongated earlobes with circular earrings and tiara in front of his chignon, unsealed
