Modelled after the Egyptian 18th Dynasty chair in Cairo Museum, each carved with hieroglyphics and figures, with a panelled back and sides, with a cane seat with a figure to each front corner on naturalistic legs and paw feet joined by stretchers, each chair with an oval label 'Baker Furniture' (2)

These Egyptian/Theban chairs are reproductions of the celebrated 18th Dynasty chair presented by Sitamen to her grandparents Yuym and Tjuyu, now in Cairo museum and discovered in their tomb in the Valley of the Kings in 1905
