With a low three quarter gallery, a moulded top and two frieze drwers, on tapering turned and lappeted legs with brass capped castors, labelled inside the drawer 'JAS MEIN CABINET MAKER & UPHOLSTERER ROXBOURGH STREET KELSO, FUNERALS PERFORMED Carving, Gilding, Paperhanging & Decorations, Inventories and Valuations made', and with a hand written number below, the castors stamped 'COPE AND COLLINSON PATENT STRONG', drawer handles possibly replaced.
