Aiming at a wealthier clientele,by the end of the century, aided by their furniture and fabric catalogues and specimen rooms,they were supplying palaces and mansions both at home and abroad. They sold both contemporary and antique domestic furniture,the modern furniture often being made by local suppliers.

Decorated with ribbon tied husks, foliate scrolls and husk swags, the hinged top enclosing a rising interior with a removable tray with eighteen cut glass glasses and tumblers, on square tapered legs with brass caps and castors, with a brass plate 'MAPLE & Co LTD, TOTTENHAM COURT RD, LONDON, PATS.1631.5466'
