The 12 in. brass dial with foliate openwork spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with inner concentric date ring, the engraved centre with recessed seconds disc, signed 'Maud & Son London', the three train movement with anchor escapement and five knopped pillars, with quarter chimes on eight bells and hour strike on further bell, the hood with scrolled pediment and three brass finials, above an arched glazed door flanked by stop-fluted columns, above an arched crossbanded door flanked by stop-fluted quarter columns, above a concave cut-cornered panel and a stepped base with shaped apron, the movement associated and with alterations
