Each piece repoussé and chased with flowers, scrolls and shells, of inverted pear-shape on a spreading circular base, the teapot with hinged molded cover chased and with bud finial, with fluted spout and wood handle, marked under base; the sugar bowl with domed cover with scrolled ring handle, marked under base; each engraved with mirror cypher on side and with later inscription dated 1868 under base
The teapot 9¼ in. (23.1 cm.) long over handle, the sugar bowl and cover 4 3/8 in. (11 cm.) high; 35 oz. 10 dwt. (1,105 gr.) gross weight (2)
