TWO LARGE GEORGE II SILVER CANDLESTICKS
ONE MARK OF JOHN HUGH LE SAGE, LONDON, 1746, AND THE OTHER MARK OF ANN CRAIG AND JOHN NEVILLE, LONDON, 1742
Each on a shaped circular stepped base, rising to a knopped and fluted baluster stem, with a spool-form socket, and with removable shaped and fluted nozzles, each engraved on the base and wax-pans with Royal badge and Garter Motto, the bases also engraved with monogram GR, each marked under base, the Le Sage example also marked on socket and with scratchweight 23=17 under base
