I-V after designs in part or whole by Beardsley, some quires unopened (spines slightly darkened, extremities lightly rubbed or bumped, vol. VII marked on boards and some leaves creased at fore-edges causing short tears).
A BRIGHT SET of this celebrated journal with contributions by Henry James, Kenneth Grahame, H.G. Wells, Edmund Gosse, and others; Beardsley was art editor of The Yellow Book until vol. IV, when John Lane dismissed him, following Oscar Wilde's arrest. This set appears to be a later issue, without publisher's advertisements bound in at the end. Lasner 65. (13)
