The Royal Yacht Osborne II was built in 1875 and although principally for the use of the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII), was also used for other Royal duties, and between 1883 and 1885, was used by Queen Victoria whilst Victoria & Albert II was being re-fitted. Osborne was sold out of the service in 1908.
