Circular, the punched bead border with occasional rosettes, centre engraved with swags around a vacant wreath cartouche, on 3 beaded circular openwork feet centred by foliate devices, 12 in. diameter (30 cm.), ALSO an unmarked ewer, probably Portugese c.1800, with later French control mark, engraved with swags around a vacant, ribbon-tied oval cartouche, on trumpet foot, 11 in. high (28 cm.), 38 oz.
