The cover by John Edward Terrey, London, 1834, cup with bifurcated , leaf-capped scroll handles, inscribed "The Royal Hunt Cup, Ascot, 1954", opposite side engraved with Royal Arms, gilt interior, the part-fluted cover with finial of four pine cones atop vine leaves & tendrils, 12½ in. high (32 cm.), 68 oz.
