GALLE DISTRICT, CIRCA 1830
Of rectangular form with scalloped outline, the interior cover inlaid with floral roundel and below fitted with seventeen various ivory and tortoiseshell veneered covered compartments with metal inlay on a sandalwood tray, fitted with eight further specimen wood covered compartments and a letter rack below
