Chancery 4° (212 x 150mm). (Faint marginal stain at end, occasional light spotting.) Contemporary half calf over wooden boards, blindstamped with ropework tools in lozenges, remains of paper spine labels (missing 2 fore-edge clasps, a little worn, some repairs). Provenance: some early MS annotations in first work, and 'dup' on title.
SECOND EDITION of both texts, FIRST ILLUSTRATED EDITION of the Cursus, expanded and renamed for the first time. Orbellis was a distinguished Scotist who undertook to write a commentary on the whole philosophy of Aristotle, including, as in the Cursus, his natural philosophy.
