A Sino-Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of Amitayus, 18th Century
seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular base, material flowing over the side of the stand towards the floor below, his hands held in dhyana mudra, wearing a folded dhoti, ornate headdress with beaded necklace, armlet and bracelet, and large roundel earrings, his blue hair tied high on his head and falling down his shoulders, before a trefoiled flaming mandarla - 8in. (20.3cm) high.
